I made this model for my elder sister Madeleine whose career in nursing spanned some forty years. She began her training as a cadet nurse at Ashton General Hospital, Ashton under Lyne in 1963.
Close up shows a robin on the window ledge. Robins are special to the family, a constant reminder of our late parents, especially my mother who adored them.
